Bergsig Estate is situated in one of South Africa's most picturesque wine valleys: the Breedekloof Wine Valley. Situated at the foot of two big mountain ranges, the Drakenstein and the Hex River Mountains, our vines are fed by water accumulated from mountain streams which can run throughout summer, as these mountains are often snow-capped in winter. If there is one secret to this region, it's that the Chenin Blanc is an absolute stand-out. Definitely, one to consider for the cellar although it is drinking beautifully right now.

• The wine was fermented and matured for 12 months in 300L French oak barrels.
• Left on the lees for 60 days for added complexity.
• A rich aroma of dried apricots and ripe citrus complemented by a touch of wood.
